ivey league preschool: oh-K!

Still playing catch-up with blog posts....here's our K week!

Our K week was also a quarantine week...both boys had hand/foot/mouth disease so until their bumps cleared up we avoided public places.  Including the library, which is why we made the most out of the one good K book we already had at home, Katy No-Pocket.

We found a few printable activities to go along with the book, including a special K pocket to slide other K-words in.

We also learned about animal families and matched up mommies and daddies with their babies.

I also found a kite-themed preschool packet that Caleb and I did together.  It included activities like finding what was different, size sequencing, counting kites, and designing your own kite.

We did our play-doh mat, do-a-dot, and pattern block activities too.

And lastly, we did our magazine scavenger hunt and collage for the letter K:

Our classical music for this week was another CD with famous marches.  Caleb really liked one from "The Nutcracker Suite," so we might have to find the whole thing for him to listen to, especially as Christmas gets closer!
